NF Consulting
Services (NFC) places contractors in a variety of areas related
to information systems and technology. In addition to the specific
four types of positions listed below, other areas include Database
Administrators, Technical Writing, Data Modeling, Mainframe Programming,
Quality Assurance, Testing, Outsourcing, and other related areas.
NFC focuses
on placement of professionals in the following four areas:
Business
Analyst
A business analyst
is experienced in facilitating the definition of business and systems
requirements using a joint application design (JAD) approach, developing
process and data models, planning and conducting user acceptance
testing, and facilitating a cooperative team environment.
Skills and qualifications
should include knowledge of structured system analysis and development
methodologies, recent experience with requirements gathering and
user acceptance/system testing. Additionally, the business analyst
should be able to provide expertise in process decomposition, entity-relationship
modeling, word processing and spreadsheet software.
Project
Manager
A project manager
is experienced in leading a major project development effort, including
overall accountability, project oversight, and management of all
related tasks and activities. The project manager should be able
to develop detailed schedules, plans and timelines, monitor work
plan progress and status, and assess, evaluate and allocate staff
resources as needed.
Experience should
include facilitating joint application design (JAD) workshops to
gather information, developing project plans, analysis of business
and technical processes, documenting work flows, resolving project
issues, and reporting project status.
Java
Web Developer
A Java Web Developer
should be experienced in technologies such as Java, Java Server
Pages (JSP), Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Servlets, DB2, IBM WebSphere
and VisualAge for Java. While not required we prefer to see Sun
(Sun Microsystems) Certifications as a Java Programmer, Java Developer
and Architect and any IBM certifications, preferably WebSphere.
Microsoft
Web Developer
A Microsoft
Web Developer must have experience with technologies such as ASP,
VBScript, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, COM, HTML, XML, .Net, Crystal
Reports and Windows 2000. While not required we prefer to see Microsoft
Certifications, preferably MCP and MCSD.
